Green, stable, and efficient! Boonray Technology joins hands with industry leaders to launch a high-capacity charging and battery-swap integrated vehicle

On May 16th, Boonray Technology, together with Qiyuan Core Power, Tongli Heavy Industry, and Tebaijia, unveiled the production version of the Boonray BLEB105A1/TL (528KWH/396KWH charging and swapping version) at the 18th Ordos International Coal and Energy Industry Expo. This model features Boonray's latest intelligent driving system, Qiyuan Core Power's efficient charging and swapping system, a powerful electric drive assembly jointly developed by Boonray and Tebaijia, and a long-life, wire-controlled chassis jointly developed by Boonray and Tongli. This enables efficient and stable operation of unmanned electric mining vehicles and efficient coordination between the unmanned mining vehicles and the charging and swapping system. This not only marks a major breakthrough in the integration of unmanned and electric technologies in mining operations, but also heralds the arrival of a new era of green, low-carbon, and intelligent mining operations. Boonray Technology and Tebaijia held a strategic signing ceremony at the event, and the two parties will further collaborate on the electric drive powertrain and complete vehicle VCU for wide-body mining vehicles.

The product launch event was attended by several industry leaders, including Xin Weidong, President of the Inner Mongolia Smart Mining Research Association; Tian Huaifeng, Vice President of Business at Boonray Technology; Xue Hailong, Technical Director of Qiyuanxin Power Engineering Machinery; and Zhang Bentang, Deputy General Manager of Sales at Tebaijia. They each presented detailed information on their respective expertise and products, showcasing the strong capabilities and close, in-depth collaboration between Boonray Technology and its partners in the fields of new energy and smart mining.


In his address, Xin Weidong, President of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Smart Mining Research Association, noted that mines have long been plagued by challenging working environments, recruitment difficulties, and high labor costs, as well as frequent accidents and high casualty rates. Currently, the country is vigorously promoting the development of intelligent and unmanned mining operations, encouraging technology companies to address these challenges through advanced technologies such as autonomous driving and 5G. Boonray Technology, a leading company in electric unmanned driving in mining areas, has launched an unmanned, integrated charging and battery-swappable pure electric mining vehicle. While achieving zero tailpipe emissions and effectively reducing carbon emissions, it also further enhances the adaptability of electric mining vehicles in low-temperature northern environments, improves operational efficiency, and enhances the efficiency of switching between manned and unmanned driving. This is of great significance for my country's goal of achieving carbon neutrality, protecting the environment, and addressing climate change. In-depth exploration of scenarios and innovation targeting difficult issues



The core innovation of the newly released Boonray BLEB105A1/TL (528KWH/396KWH charging and swapping versions) lies in its highly intelligent autonomous driving system. While ensuring efficient and stable unmanned operation, this system also features a collaborative charging and swapping mining vehicle-station system. Through wireless network and Lora dual-link communication, it enables a fully unmanned battery swapping process, including battery swapping appointments, site confirmation, automatic control of the battery locking mechanism, and automatic departure upon completion. This innovation not only improves operational efficiency but also significantly reduces labor costs and safety risks.


Secondly, to enhance the reliability and safety of unmanned mining vehicles, Boonray Technology has also developed a wire-controlled chassis system with redundant braking, steering, drive, and automatic drainage. Jointly developed with Tongli, vehicles using this wire-controlled chassis maintain stable operation even in extreme conditions, ensuring operational safety.


Furthermore, for the coordinated operation of multiple unmanned mining vehicles, Boonray Technology has developed a road condition information encoding and compression method based on image feature coding dictionary technology. By modeling, encoding and compressing road condition information, the real-time transmission of road condition information is ensured, and the collaborative efficiency of unmanned mining vehicles is improved.
