Boonray Technology was invited to attend the Mining Frontier and Informatization Intelligent Technology Annual Conference to discuss new driving forces for sustainable development of the mining industry with the industry

        On December 4th, the "2021 Mining Frontier and Informatization and Intelligent Technology Annual Conference," themed "Low Carbon, Green, and Intelligent, New Momentum for Mines," concluded successfully. As an annual event in the field of informatization and intelligence in China's mining industry, it continues to contribute to the advancement of the industry's informatization and intelligent development and production technology. Boonray Technology was invited by the organizers to present a presentation titled "Intelligence + Zero Carbon + 5G Comprehensive Application in Open-Pit Mining Scenarios" to nearly 400 experts, scholars, and business representatives from across the country, as well as representatives from more than 160 universities, research institutes, and mining companies.

        At the opening ceremony of the conference, Wang Liguan, professor at Central South University and chairman of Changsha Dimai Digital Technology Co., Ltd., pointed out that transforming traditional industries with information and intelligent technologies is an effective way to achieve "low-carbon, green" development in the mining industry and a strong driving force for its sustainable development. Wang Guofa, a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, also stated at the conference that green development is the lifeline for the sustainable development of the mining industry, and that intelligent unmanned mining is the most fundamental and effective method for achieving safe and efficient mining processes, and is a key guarantee for the sustainable and efficient development of my country's mineral resources.

Boonray Technology's "Intelligent + Zero Carbon + 5G Open-Pit Mine Comprehensive Application" closely aligns with national industrial policies for intelligent and green mining, analyzing specific methods for upgrading the mining industry. State Power Investment Corporation, a strategic investor in Boonray Technology and one of my country's five largest energy groups with a high proportion of clean energy, not only provides financial support but also provides green electricity such as wind and solar power for Boonray's unmanned mine operations, helping mines achieve zero carbon emissions. The autonomous pure electric mining truck jointly developed by the two parties is equipped with a high-performance power battery, dual motors, a 4AMT transmission, and a Boonray autonomous driving kit. It supports unmanned mine transportation with a maximum climbing grade of 40% and a fully loaded speed of 25 km/h, making it fully adaptable to complex road conditions. It also incorporates electric brake energy recovery technology, which recovers braking energy during downhill driving back to the battery, partially recycling the electricity. Compared to fuel-powered mining trucks, it saves up to 80% energy on downhill runs and 40% on uphill runs. Reducing operating costs while improving energy efficiency, accelerating the transition to electrification, and making electric vehicles more adaptable to autonomous driving systems, while achieving lower carbon emissions and environmental protection at the same production efficiency, are the future development directions. This provides concrete implementation cases for the conference's theme, "Building Green and Smart Mines Based on the Dual Carbon Goals."

The conference explored the role of digitalization, informatization, and intelligent mining technologies, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as 5G, big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and virtual reality, in advancing the mining industry's "dual carbon" goals. The conference examined the current status of carbon emissions in my country's mining industry from a global perspective, summarized the recent progress in intelligent mining in my country over the past year, and provided a perspective on the future development of the industry. The conference provided theoretical and technical support for the low-carbon and green development of my country's mining industry, promoting its transformation, upgrading, and high-quality development.
