Boonray Technology was selected as the 2022 Metal Mine Intelligent Equipment Technology Innovation Application Case

My country's metal mining industry has undergone a long period of green, standardized, sustainable, and healthy development, with some of its technical equipment reaching internationally advanced levels. The Zhongzhi Nonferrous Technology Platform held the "Third Metal Mining Equipment Supplier Conference and Standards Discussion" with the theme of "Efficient Intelligence - Green Standardization." Mining companies, experts, and scholars were invited to present on the research progress of related technical equipment, application standards, engineering application examples, and technical requirements. Boonray Technology, leveraging its accumulated project experience and insights in recent years in autonomous driving in mining areas, successfully completed its competition defense and was recognized as a "2022 National Outstanding Application Case for Intelligent Metal Mining Equipment."

Relying on the rich vanadium-titanium magnetite resources of the Panxi region, Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group, after more than 50 years of development, has become a world leader in the comprehensive utilization of these resources, becoming a leading vanadium producer. The establishment of Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group was a major strategic decision made by the Party and the State to develop Panzhihua's resources, transform the layout of my country's steel industry, and build the Third Front.

The "Gansu Xigou Mine 5G+Smart Mining Project" is the country's first 5G application scenario for combined operations of vehicles, shovels, and drills. The project was launched in April 2020. At present, two scenarios of "unmanned mining truck operation and remote control of mining machinery" have been built and implemented, realizing four operations of drilling, shoveling, transportation, and dredging, and remote operation of more than 20 large-scale mining production machinery.

During the defense session of the conference, Boonray Technology introduced the actual application of the company's autonomous driving algorithms, vehicle-by-wire control, cloud computing, charging and swapping mining trucks and other technologies in metal mines such as Panzhihua Iron and Steel and Jiugang to experts and scholars on site, including professor-level senior engineers from Zijin Mining and professors from related fields from all over the country. The company also exchanged views with upstream and downstream partners on site, aiming to jointly promote industry standardization and the integration of industry, academia and research with on-site engineering design units and mining companies, and effectively solve the hot, focal and difficult issues currently concerned in this field.

The conference summarized the advanced production processes and key technologies recently developed at home and abroad, and conducted summary, induction and comparative analysis based on typical engineering examples, guiding the technological upgrading of metal mining equipment in my country. It has guiding and reference significance for ensuring the sustainable development of the industry and improving the core competitiveness of enterprises.
