After three rounds of competition, Boonray Technology's "Intelligent Electrification Solution for Open-Pit Mines" ultimately won first place in the third prize at the 2022 "Maker China" national finals. This solution, which integrates Boonray's proprietary systems, including its autonomous driving system, wire-control redundancy system, remote control system, and mine-wide cloud platform, has been deployed at mines such as Gansu Jiugang, Sichuan Pangang, State Power Investment Corporation's Zhakuang, and Minmetals Hegang, adapting to various types of mines and vehicle models from various OEMs.

Six industry chain competitions, including those on industrial intelligence innovation applications and Haier Smart Home, were held. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Small and Medium Enterprise Development Promotion Center hosted one overseas regional final. Over 37,000 projects participated, an 18.92% increase compared to 2021. Project matchmaking services have yielded fruitful results. According to statistics, 992 small and micro-enterprise entrepreneurship and innovation demonstration bases and 1,050 SME public service demonstration platforms participated in the competition. To date, the organizers of this year's competition have held a total of 898 matchmaking events, 1,260 projects have received 11.43 billion yuan in equity investment, 132 banks have provided 20.38 billion yuan in credit lines to participating projects, and 694 leading enterprises have entered into financing partnerships with 1,323 projects. Building on the initial selection of the top 500 and top 50 entries, the national finals, after a fierce competition involving online project roadshows, Q&A sessions, and expert scoring, and notarized by a notary public, awarded three first prizes, six second prizes, ten third prizes, and 16 outstanding awards to the corporate group.

The competition's concluding meeting emphasized that selection is only one way to discover outstanding projects. The competition's focus lies on nurturing, its core is service, and its goal is transformation and application. SME authorities at all levels should address the development characteristics and individual needs of SMEs and innovative projects, assisting with key aspects such as project implementation, market application, fiscal and tax support, and financial support, thereby transforming innovative achievements into drivers of industrial competitiveness and high-quality development. The concluding meeting also announced a "Maker China" project development acceleration plan to accelerate the development of high-quality entrepreneurial and innovative projects into specialized, specialized, and innovative enterprises. Service providers such as Bank of China, the Beijing Stock Exchange, Baidu, iFlytek, and Amazon released exclusive service packages for outstanding projects from the competition. This year's concluding meeting was held in a combined online and offline format, with two main venues in Beijing and Hangzhou. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Small and Medium Enterprises Bureau and its Information Center participated in Beijing, while SME authorities from various regions participated via video link.
