International Cooperation | Boonray Technology and international commercial vehicle giant SCANIA cooperate to create an intelligent fleet management system

On December 18, 2020, Boonray Technology and Swedish commercial vehicle giant SCANIA Group completed the first phase of development and verification for an innovative application product that uses AI algorithms for intelligent vehicle management and dispatching. The product will be launched to the market shortly.

After a year-long investigation, SCANIA Group ultimately chose Boonray Technology to collaborate on the development of digital products and services. Boonray Technology's team's experience in developing and applying intelligent commercial vehicle and fleet management systems will help Scania develop intelligent vehicle solutions for Chinese customers. SCANIA Group expressed its appreciation for the impressive progress Boonray Technology achieved in product development in just three months, leveraging its powerful Boonray Cloud platform.

The commercial vehicle intelligent management and dispatch system, developed by Boonray Technology and leveraging Scania Group's vehicle data and operational expertise, will be jointly launched in the Chinese market and provided with related services.

SCANIA Group is a global company with operations in over 100 countries and regions, primarily providing heavy-duty trucks, large buses and coaches, and industrial engines.

Recently, the company announced the establishment of a new factory in Rugao, Jiangsu Province, China, accelerating its expansion into the Chinese market. Scania is also heavily invested in autonomous driving products, with its autonomous mining trucks leading the way in mining operations worldwide. Discussions with Boonray Technology in this area will also commence in the future.
