Keeping pace with the world: Boonray Technology is among the first to enter Microsofts fourth global artificial intelligence laboratory

On May 15, 2019, Boonray Technology was invited to participate in the opening ceremony of the "Microsoft Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things Lab" and became one of the first Chinese technology companies to settle in the lab.

This laboratory is the fourth artificial intelligence laboratory established by Microsoft in the world and is also the largest one of Microsoft in the world to date. It is a global R&D institution specially established to promote the innovative research and development and industrialization of artificial intelligence and Internet of Things solutions and applications. It aims to promote the deep integration of artificial intelligence and Internet of Things with enterprise digital transformation in industries such as manufacturing, retail, medical high-tech, finance, and public affairs.

Mao Shuying, Head of Boonray Technology's Product Department, attended the opening ceremony as a company representative and was awarded a cooperation certificate. Boonray Technology boasts extensive practical experience and deep technical expertise in the fields of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. Microsoft's selection of Boonray Technology as one of the first co-operating companies, along with several leading technology companies, reflects Microsoft's recognition of Boonray Technology's R&D capabilities in the IoT and AI fields. In the future, Boonray Technology will leverage Microsoft's AI and IoT labs to provide customers with a more comprehensive range of IoT products and solutions.

On January 16, 2019, the Pudong New Area signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with Microsoft (China) Co., Ltd. This strategic partnership leverages Zhangjiang's abundant scientific research resources, concentrated innovative elements, and comprehensive supporting facilities, leveraging Microsoft's brand, services, technology, and industry chain advantages. Leveraging the Microsoft Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things Lab, the partnership aims to promote the deep integration of AI and the Internet of Things with enterprise digital transformation. Since the signing of the Microsoft Lab project, Microsoft and Zhangjiang Group have collaborated closely, with the strong support of the Pudong government, the Pudong Science and Technology Commission, and the Zhangjiang Administrative Committee. Initial construction of the lab was completed in early May.
