Boonray Technology helps Wuzhi Smart City achieve initial success

On March 11, 2019, Yang Yang, co-founder and CTO of Shanghai Boonray Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Boonray Technology), led a team to Wuzhi, Henan Province, for pre-delivery testing and problem-solving.

At the Wuzhi Intelligent Hardware Industrial Park, the Boonray Technology team utilized AI image recognition, cloud computing, big data, and urban management drone technology to build an IoT ecosystem service platform for the Wuzhi Intelligent Park. This platform already enables drone inspections and real-time data transmission, issuing alerts for abnormalities within the park and providing critical decision-making data for its management and development. The project is reportedly nearing 90% completion.

The application of urban management drones is a key business segment for Boonray Technology. Boonray Technology became associated with the Wuzhi Industrial New City project at the Yunqi Conference on September 20, 2018. As a Platinum Partner of the "Alibaba Cloud IoT City Partner Program," Boonray Technology has already implemented a smart city project in Shanghai's Xuhui District, using intelligent drones to replace manual labor in a range of high-risk or difficult tasks, reducing manpower and management costs.

The Wuzhi Intelligent Hardware Industrial Park project is another representative application of urban management drones in the smart city sector. Its implementation will mark the official entry of park management, and indeed urban governance as a whole, into the era of intelligence.
