Pangang Group Zhulan Iron Mine: We are deeply moved by Boonray Technologys spirit of continuous struggle

      At the end of November 2021, the Boonray project team officially entered the Zhulan Iron Mine of Pangang Group Co., Ltd. (Pangang) to retrofit mine cars with various autonomous driving features. With the strong support of Pangang leadership and various departments, Boonray employees, emulating the Panzhihua spirit of "hard work, selfless dedication, unity and cooperation, and courage to innovate," achieved significant progress in just two months before the New Year. Dedication is the starting point for reward. On January 25th, the Zhulan Iron Mine of Pangang Group sent Boonray a letter of appreciation for its dedication. This letter is a new impetus for Boonray employees to measure the progress of the Zhulan Iron Mine with their own feet. With the mission of upgrading the mine to intelligent technology on their shoulders, Boonray remains unwavering in its original aspirations, and its actions speak louder than words.

       At Panzhihua Iron and Steel, relying on Boonray's independently developed autonomous driving algorithms, it has achieved functions such as automatic tracking driving for mining trucks, automatic planning of loading and unloading areas, coordinated operation of vehicles and shovels, and remote control of equipment via seats. Boonray's independently developed PDC and BCM software have also enabled breakthroughs in brake-by-wire, steering-by-wire, and lift-by-wire hydraulic valve assembly products. The company has also achieved the independent product design of electrical wiring harnesses for mass production, and has also implemented functional safety redundant drive-by-wire control technology. Mixed manned and unmanned vehicle operations and coordinated operation of the unloading port scheduling system are now possible, and installation of Boray's independently developed HMI interactive system is progressing as planned.

     As stated in the thank-you letter, all colleagues of the Boonray Pangang project team worked hard to solve problems during their stay at the project. The company's annual meeting was unable to welcome the colleagues' "return". All employees of the headquarters could only express their greetings and gratitude to the Pangang project team via video link.

The establishment of Panzhihua Iron and Steel was a major strategic decision made by the Party and the State to develop Panxi resources, transform the layout of my country's steel industry, and build the Third Front. From 1965 to 1997, Panzhihua Iron and Steel gradually ended the history of Western my country lacking large-scale steel enterprises and the historical absence of sheet metal production. In May 2010, it reorganized with Anshan Iron and Steel Group to become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Anshan Iron and Steel Group Corporation.
