Boonray Technology was invited to participate in Weichai Special Vehicles 2022 major customer delivery ceremony and new product launch conference

On December 6, 2021, Weichai Special Vehicles, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Weichai Group, held its 2022 Business Conference and New Product Launch with the theme of "Setting a New Benchmark for Wide-Body Mining Trucks and Leading the Upscaling of Mining Equipment." The conference concluded with a ceremony for the delivery of vehicles to key customers, with Boonray Technology, a high-tech enterprise, participating. The ceremony showcased core mining truck models, including unmanned, all-electric, and hybrid trucks.

      Boonray Technology, a major customer of Weichai Special Vehicles, has already implemented autonomous loading and unloading operations at the Huajian Coal Mine in Inner Mongolia with a batch of mining trucks previously purchased. These trucks are equipped with Boonray's independently developed autonomous driving suite. Boonray Multi-Transport, a product and solution designed for green and intelligent open-pit mines, enables the flexible use of autonomous mining trucks within the open-pit mining ecosystem. Boonray prioritizes autonomous driving capabilities tailored to actual mine operating scenarios. For example, Boonray optimizes perception algorithms to address the complex and changing road conditions, dusty conditions, rainy and snowy conditions, and other harsh environments that are not conducive to autonomous driving perception. Boonray has pioneered the industry in launching several all-electric autonomous mining trucks, combining autonomous driving technology with new energy sources to bring green and intelligent technologies to mining operations. Furthermore, products and solutions such as remote control and an intelligent shovel dispatching platform based on 5G technology can help achieve complete unmanned operation in mines.

Boonray Technology's unmanned mining truck is lifting and unloading

        In addition to purchasing mining trucks, Boonray Technology has also invested in and built the "Smart Mine Unmanned Transportation Experimental Base" at Weichai's Yangzhou headquarters. This is the largest autonomous mining truck testing base in China. This organically integrates production and research environments, effectively guaranteeing the production quality of autonomous pre-installed mining trucks. At the press conference, Weichai organized key customers from across the country to visit the test base to see the pure electric unmanned mining trucks undergoing heavy-load uphill and downhill testing, parking and unloading, straight-line turning, human obstacle avoidance, and vehicle-shovel linkage testing.

        As a leading domestic manufacturer of special vehicles, Weichai Special Vehicle has carried out three rounds of product technology improvement actions in the past two years, solving more than 98% of market feedback issues. At the same time, it has introduced excellent supporting resources in the industry, greatly improving the adaptability and reliability of its products, and forming a wide-body mining vehicle product with distinctive characteristics. In his keynote speech, Qian Zhusheng, general manager of Weichai Special Vehicle, pointed out that "in the 14th Five-Year Plan, the country has put forward national-level requirements for the standardized management of domestic open-pit mines and the construction of green mines, improving the level of mechanization, informatization, automation and intelligence, large-scale construction equipment, implementing vehicle density control, and improving the active and passive safety of vehicles. At the same time, intelligent emission reduction of mining equipment and the drive of new energy products will guide the large-scale, intelligent and green development of mining equipment."
