Boonray Technology won Huaweis 2020 Best 5G Practice Award

On December 3, 2020, Boonray Technology was invited to participate in Huawei's first Technical Service Partner Conference in Dongguan, where it was awarded the "Best 5G Practice Award" for Huawei's 2020 5G Edge DC Partner. Mao Shuying, Cloud Technology Director of Boonray Technology, attended the conference and participated in a seminar themed "5G and Edge DC Practice in Industrial Scenarios."

In 2017, Huawei formulated a two-step Digital Global Technology Service (GTS) strategy. The first step is to enable its own digital transformation through the continuous development of digital technologies and digital platforms such as cloud, big data, and automation. The second step is to open up proven platforms and service capabilities to partners to help operators enable industry digital transformation. Based on this strategic goal, Huawei hopes to share its accumulated knowledge and experience in the ICT field with operators and industry customers through the Technology Service Partner Conference, and work with partners to promote digital transformation and realize business value.

Boonray Technology officially signed a MPA agreement with Huawei in March 2020, becoming a supplier for Huawei's "5G + Smart Mining" business. The company primarily provides Huawei with 5G-based autonomous driving solutions for smart mining scenarios. This solution has been successfully commercialized at multiple domestic mines.

Huawei's supplier certification process is extremely stringent. Boonray Technology adapted to Huawei's system architecture in just two months and successfully implemented its application products on the Huawei platform. This fully demonstrates Boonray Technology's technological leadership in system integration and intelligent hardware and software, as well as the market competitiveness of its related products.

Boonray Technology is currently collaborating with Huawei on the Jiugang project in Gansu. The project's implementation demonstrates that Boonray Technology not only provides intelligent solutions for individual equipment but also streamlines the entire mining process. In the future, the two parties will deepen their collaboration in more large-scale open-pit mines, aiming to significantly reduce labor costs and ultimately achieve fully unmanned operations with daytime maintenance and nighttime production.
