Boray Technology wins second prize at the World 5G Conference and partners with Tencent Cloud to build smart mines

At the recently concluded 2022 World 5G Conference, Boonray Technology and Tencent Cloud won second prize in the enterprise category of the 5G Converged Application Competition. The World 5G Conference, co-hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, is the world's first international 5G event. Every year, it attracts numerous global 5G companies, governments, and research institutions to discuss 5G development trends, and has a profound influence on the industry.

As a key component of the 2022 World 5G Conference's "Conference + Exhibition + Competition" initiative, the "5G Convergence Application Competition" focuses on the industry's digital transformation trends, selecting outstanding 5G application cases that iteratively upgrade and optimize intelligent production and networked collaborative application scenarios, with outstanding economic benefits and innovative business models. After on-site defense and judging by the judges, Boonray Technology's open-pit mining intelligent solution, combined with Tencent Cloud's boundaryless real-time audio and video, won second prize among 770 participating projects. Specifically, the "Tencent Cloud Unbounded" solution integrates Tencent Cloud Real-Time Audio and Video (TRTC) with 5G networks, reducing real-time video transmission latency to less than 100 milliseconds. This breakthrough in the industry provides a reliable remote control experience for mining machinery, comprehensively improving the safety and efficiency of mining operations.
