Boonray Cloud V2.0 Launch Conference: Quickly Create Dedicated Drone Application Solutions

On December 26, 2018, the "Boonray Cloud V2.0 Launch Conference" hosted by Shanghai Boonray Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. At the launch event, Boonray Cloud's Product Manager, Mao Shuying, detailed the product features of Boonray Cloud:

Data Collection Kit: Consisting of a drone, the Zhifei app (a flight control app independently developed by Boonray Technology), Curie III (intelligent flight hardware independently developed by Boonray Technology), a 4G live broadcast module, remote route planning, and direct data transmission to the cloud, the kit enables semi-automatic and fully automated compatibility of drone data collection, greatly lowering the operating threshold of drones, making data collection more accurate and convenient, and more in line with actual usage scenarios.

Data Processing: Achieves fully automated, fast execution, high-precision quality, multi-client browsing support, and persistent data storage, allowing customers to focus more on results while minimizing time-consuming tasks and significantly improving work efficiency.

UAV Process Integration: Achieves seamless integration across the entire drone operation. Boonray Cloud offers both standalone and cloud-based deployment options, enabling rapid deployment based on customer needs.

High-Precision 3D Model/Orthographic Image Integration with Maps: At the launch event, Boonray Cloud Product Manager Mao Shuying demonstrated the new functionality to the attendees. Customers were impressed by the high-precision integration of 3D models/orthographic images with maps, enabling them to perform various measurements on the 3D models/orthographic images.

Data Center: Demonstrates customized solutions for various customer needs, with a visual interface that provides a clear understanding of the overall data.

Live Broadcast: A major highlight of the launch event included a live interactive session with Boonray Technology's intelligent operations and maintenance personnel at a large-scale photovoltaic power station in Nanchang. The live broadcast showcased accurate map positioning, high-definition image quality, smooth operation, and minimal latency.

Achieving intelligent data recognition to meet the needs of various industries

Dr. Yang Yang, co-founder and CTO of Boonray Technology, explained the closed data loop that combines drones and artificial intelligence. This entire closed data loop, based on neural networks and deep learning, comprises collection, processing, analysis, presentation, and scheduling, enabling intelligent data recognition. Dr. Yang stated, "Boonray Cloud currently meets the needs of various industries and has extensive experience in key sectors, including new energy photovoltaics, construction, urban management, and mining, fully leveraging Boonray Cloud's efficient data collection, processing, and analysis capabilities."

Using photovoltaics and port machinery as examples, Dr. Yang Yang explained Boonray Cloud's advanced AI-powered technology for photovoltaic hot spot identification and port machinery contamination identification.

Key Account Manager Yin Qichun, speaking about a photovoltaic operation and maintenance case study, explained, "Boonray Cloud fully automates traditional operations, posing challenges such as labor-intensive, time-consuming, unsafe, operationally demanding, and difficult data processing. This has reduced a task that previously took three months to just one week."

Sales Manager Sun Caifeng, speaking about a building exterior wall inspection case study, explained that Boonray Cloud's integrated flight software has helped inspectors overcome issues such as slow data collection, data collection difficulties, omissions, inconsistencies, and irregularities. Now, inspecting a single wall takes only about an hour, and an entire neighborhood can be inspected in a day, with reports automatically generated.
