Boonray Technology won the first prize in the professional competition of the China Industrial Internet Competition

Boonray Technology won the first prize in the professional competition of the China Industrial Internet Competition, and its open-pit mine intelligent solution was recognized by all walks of life.

On March 15th, the finals of the "Industrial Internet + Intelligent Connected Vehicle" professional competition of the 3rd China Industrial Internet Competition were successfully held. As one of the most prestigious competitions in my country's industrial internet sector, it serves as a "training ground" for the development and application of the industrial internet, attracting widespread participation and attention from industry, academia, research, and application sectors. Since its inception, the professional competition has attracted widespread attention from the industry. Boonray Technology's "Open-pit Mining Intelligent Solution - Boonray Multi-transport" project competed against 346 benchmark enterprises and university projects nationwide and ultimately won first prize.

The "Intelligent Connected Vehicle" professional competition is hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, and co-organized by the Dalian High-Tech Industrial Park Management Committee, the National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center, and the Dalian Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology. This "national competition" attracted innovative technology companies from various fields, including automakers and Tier 1 companies, fostering efficient complementarity across the industrial chain. It also showcased core technologies across multiple layers and dimensions, including perception, cognitive decision-making, control execution, and terminal services. The competition included both nationally pioneered technologies and industry-leading innovations. Numerous cutting-edge projects are leading the industry, expanding possibilities for the future of intelligent connected vehicles and empowering the industry's high-quality development through technological innovation.

Boonray Technology empowers traditional industries like mining through autonomous driving and artificial intelligence technologies, providing enterprise-level intelligent operations solutions. Leveraging industry-leading full-stack L4 autonomous driving technology, Boonray has built a smart open-pit mining platform, "Boonray Multi-Transport," which includes an autonomous driving system, a vehicle linear control system, a 5G remote control system, and a cloud-based intelligent dispatching system. This platform enables interconnected and clustered intelligent operations for various types of mining machinery, including mining trucks, excavators, and loaders, facilitating large-scale deployment. Boonray has already implemented unmanned mining truck operations in multiple mines across China, and has entered into a strategic partnership with State Power Investment Corporation, one of China's five largest power generation groups, to launch the industry's first autonomous battery-swap mining truck, helping mines achieve safe, unmanned, and low-carbon production.

Unlike other autonomous driving technology companies, Boonray has established its own vehicle control-by-wire team. By adopting functional safety measures and control strategies such as redundant controllers, redundant CAN buses, redundant steering, redundant braking, redundant throttles, and automatic drainage, it has achieved moderately low-cost functional safety for unmanned mining trucks. Based on this technology, unmanned mining trucks achieve fault-handling performance similar to aviation safety. Even if a product malfunctions, it can enter a controlled safe operation mode, achieving zero dependence on the driver and continuing to operate even if a fault is detected. This makes the ideal of unmanned mining trucks without a safety officer or a cab a reality, ensuring safety without a driver, and realizing true unmanned driving in the mining area.

In addition to Boonray Technology, the finalists each had their own strengths. Guizhou Hankesi's wire-controlled chassis products and Beijing Qihoo Technology's data security technology are globally leading. They are lowering the development threshold for autonomous driving and smart cars in scenarios such as unmanned logistics and retail vehicles, and steadily improving data security for autonomous driving. Neusoft Group (Dalian), a leading company in China's automotive electronics industry, has two projects, 5G V2XBOX and Enhanced Display Navigation, that have achieved impressive results in in-vehicle connectivity, and will continue to focus on enhancing the intelligent driving experience.
