Boonray Technology has been certified as an excellent ecological partner by China Mobile, jointly developing autonomous driving in smart mines

At the recently held 2021 China 5G+ Industrial Internet Conference, Liu He, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, delivered a written speech. Xiao Yaqing, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Ying Yong, Secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, attended the conference and delivered speeches. During the conference, at a special meeting on "5G+ Mining," Liu Gang, on behalf of China Mobile Group, presented the "China Mobile 5G Smart Mining Alliance Outstanding Ecosystem Partner Award" to partners including the Sixth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology, Chinalco Intelligent Copper, and Boonray Technology. This award recognizes Boonray Technology's outstanding contributions to the Gansu Jiugang Smart Mining Project, a joint project with Gansu Mobile, Huawei, and Chuangyuan.

Liu Gang from China Mobile's Government and Enterprise Division mentioned that in the past two years, China Mobile and its partners have jointly carried out key technology research, product development, project implementation and industry standard formulation for 5G smart mines across the country, and successfully created 5G+ smart mine project cases represented by the unmanned mine of Jiugang in Gansu, and initially formed a large-scale demonstration effect, focusing on solving problems such as high safety risks in the mining industry, untimely supervision, high labor costs, and many business islands.

Boonray Technology, the first provider of autonomous driving solutions to implement "vehicle-shovel linkage" technology in the mining industry, partnered with China Mobile, Huawei, and Chuangyuan to build the "5G Smart Mine" project at Jiugang Xigou Mine, achieving China's first "safety officer-free" nighttime production with autonomous mining trucks. In the smart mining sector, this project is the first in China to integrate "vehicle, shovel, drill, and hammer" operations. Boonray Technology also developed China's first 5G-based remote-controlled electric shovel.

      Sifang helped build Jiugang's Xigou Mine in Gansu Province into China's first integrated "5G+ Smart Mine" featuring vehicles, shovels, and drills. This enabled remote control of electric shovels and unmanned mining trucks, helping the company win the Gansu Province Award for Outstanding Contribution to Promoting High-Quality Development. Together, they assisted Jiugang Group in its "three transformations," reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and improving quality and efficiency, ultimately achieving safe operations. They are also promoting the advancement of 5G in coal mines from "usability" to "practical" and "user-friendly," accelerating the deep integration of next-generation information technology with coal development and utilization, and promoting the green, low-carbon transformation and high-quality development of my country's coal industry.
