Boonray Technology established a scholarship at the Smart Energy Innovation Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University

"Drinking water, remember its source; loving the country, honoring the university" is the motto of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which has influenced generations of alumni for decades. Boonray Technology, a pioneer in the commercialization of autonomous driving, is founded by a team of Shanghai Jiao Tong University graduates. While leading the company to breakthroughs and advancements in the industry, they always keep the motto in mind and never forget to give back to their alma mater.

On the afternoon of October 27th, Boonray Technology founder Hu Xinyi and her delegation visited the School of Smart Energy Innovation of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (hereinafter referred to as the "School") for an exchange and learning experience. To support the development of the School's education, encourage students to study hard, innovate, and strengthen the integration of theory and practice during their time at the School, they donated funds to establish the "Boonray Scholarship" at the School. The meeting was attended by Vice Dean Gu Jun, Deputy Secretary Chen Jiu, and faculty from the Student Affairs Department and the Research and Laboratory Management Department. The meeting aimed to strengthen academic and educational collaboration between the two institutions and deepen mutual exchanges.

At the meeting, Deputy Secretary Chen Jiu, on behalf of the college, welcomed the delegation from Shanghai Boonray Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and gave a detailed introduction to the college's background, basic situation, functional positioning, and development goals. He emphasized the college's four major functions: cultivating outstanding talents, developing advanced technologies, commercializing scientific and technological achievements, and providing high-end non-academic education. Participants from both sides also conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on talent cultivation, technological development, commercializing scientific and technological achievements, and employment recruitment.

Finally, Chen Jiu expressed sincere gratitude to Shanghai Boonray Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. for its donation to establish the "Boonray Scholarship" at the college. On behalf of the college, he presented a letter of appreciation and a donation certificate to Hu Xinyi. The "Boonray Scholarship" is primarily used to reward outstanding full-time undergraduate and graduate students at the college who have excellent academic performance, outstanding academic achievements, innovative spirit, and practical ability.
